‘System Synthetics’ comes as an interdisciplinary project, looking at the opportunity of remediating the harmful consequences of large scale production of plastic compounds for the human environment and ecosystems. In order to achieve this, this project aims to design a new life-form with the combined skills of two existing fungal organisms. In this way System Synthetics aims to inspire the public and promote a debate about the benefits of a ‘man-made’ evolution of life.
